I love BMW. I really love any type of BMWs. I don’t know, but there’s just something about BMWs that really tickle my passion. Usual thought, one of my favorite BMW is the E46 and the old trusty E36 as well. The lines, the aggressive but classy front end, it just has that class. Partly said, some modification of BMW E46 brought this car to feels young again, especially for this era. Then there’s the owner of this particular one, it belongs to our friend Timothy. According to our brother that took this car into photography session. Alwafi said, this guy is the type of enthusiast that we would get along with easily. Obviously he’s not in the game for the competition or to to one-up someone. He built this car because he wanted to try something simple and classy as his daily ride and have fun since that’s what this whole hobby is about. Yes, it’s having fun. I’m pretty sure that a lot of people seem to have forgotten that. The result of his fun is probably like other and typically like other people when modifying his E46. You don’t have to abusive your car to reach certain low height that you thought it will be mesmerized us or people out there who loved the dynamic and very little touch to bring your car stands as beauty. Again, it’s only a wheel’s factor perhaps. And some crazy decision to purchase this beauty almost above the market price because of very low mileages.
The favorite aspect of this car is that I know it’s different in it self. He don’t really have to worry about going to meets or parking on a big shows, and having someone next to you and your car with the almost same look. It’s just a really good way with only a different appearance of a set of wheels that makes you could express your self individually. I have never agreed with building cars for the shows or most pathetic reason to be better than someone else.
In his last setup, Timothy told us that he had plans to change up the car. He mentioned to picking up some other wheels and of course adding more width on that. For now, Timothy shared to us that he picked up an aggressive set of OZ Opera with 18×8.5″ width all around and all offset at +15. And all those beauty wheels has wrapped with Achiless 215/40/18 all around. Again, this car was a perfect example for creating such a good stance on your car without being rough on widest wheels, but do that based on precisely calculation between the offset and width itself. It will be gorgeous.
Timothy’s E46 is a great example of how someone with the calm attitude, great motivation, and passion on beauty of the stance can turn out a relatively simple quality build while doing any other work for himself. We probably one of people that believe in even the budget builds can throw down the big-money guys builds, but don’t let it fool you that either are easy to do.
